Animated webp gets stripped on upload?

I notice that animated webp gets automatically compressed. I have a 700KB animated webp, but after dragging it to the screen, the uploaded result is only 7KB (the first frame)

On other hand, animated gifs work fine. Any idea how to get the same behavior as animated gifs for webp? The webp in question is below
