Backticks not working on published pages (in 6.0)

backticks are not working on published pages.

this could be a regression of Blockquotes not working after update .

Issue Summary

  • they show in preview but render verbatim on pages.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. add a new page
  2. enter content using backticks
  3. note that it looks good
  4. publish the page
  5. view the published page
  6. note that the backticks are rendered verbatim
