Far more people actively engage with and check SMS as compared to email these days. This may seem out of scope but a bulk SMS delivery system could add a lot of value to the members feature. Attaching a phone number and allowing to send through an SMS gateway like Plivo, Nexmo, or Twillio, that could have some text and shortened url to a post would be a big boost to traffic for important posts.
