Can DAM be usefull with Ghost(Pro)?

Hi all,

as a new user of Ghost(Pro) but not being an internet, html or website management expert I was thinking if a digital assets management toll could become handy paried with Ghost, since the CMS doesnt have a native file manager.

I read some articles but I’m not quite sure if a DAM could be a flexible and easier way to manage all the digital assets that goes into the main web site.

As we produce mainly articles, we will have lots of word documents, Markdown, images and some videos that will be uploaded. As we are in the process of creaing the web site I though that a DAM colud be helpfull to manage all this stuff.

The main reason would be to have a centralized repository with specific access rules and to have some kind of version control on the digital assets. This would be helpfull to store and manage all the stuff knowing that only few persons could actually modify or accept the media content, and to have a structured way to tag and search each element uploaded into the main website.

Is someone already using a DAM with Ghost? Do you have any advice please?

Thank you!
