# Can't get ghost running on Apple M1 chip!

🙈 😜 Thanks a lot for spotting it!

After installing node v14 for x86\_64, ghost runs locally:

```auto
> nvm uninstall 14
> arch -x86_64 zsh 
> nvm install 14
> nvm alias default 14
> ghost install local

```
