Hi folks :)

So, I’ve tried ghost and discovered, that I would rather do my travel blog on wordpress.

How do I migrate to wordpress the best way? Do I cancel the subscription first? and (stupid question): when I change to wordpress, the ghost website won’t show up, it will direct straight to the wordpress site, right?

Thank you very much!

Why would you cancel your subscription first? I you have to put ghost on maintenance mode and then migrate data to WP. That’s what I will do

Sorry to see you go! With Ghost, your data is portable, so you have the option to migrate platforms if your needs change.

For your subscription, I would reach out to your hosting provider.

For migrating from Ghost to Wordpress, I’d reach out to the Wordpress community to see what they recommend.

If you’re using a custom domain, you’ll also need to update your DNS settings to point to your new Ghost site.
