Ghost error with 2 installs

I had an wordpress blog on my main domain( Ubuntu 22 VPS) and tried to switch to Ghost. Installed Ghost for the first time in a subdomain to test the installation process and Ghost itself, as I had some unsuccessfull attempts in the past. Everything worked smooth and I liked it.

With Ghost installed in my subdomain, uninstalled my main domain Wordpress instance to install it there too. I had an identical experience but when I go to mywebsite.com everything( admin, logo, articles) links to subdomain.mywebsite.com.

Uninstalled my subdomain Ghost, reinstalled my main domain ghost and now, with that one missing I get this error

Oops, seems there is an error in the error template.

Encountered the error:

Failed to lookup view "/home/myuser/web/subdomain.mywebsite.com/public_html/versions/5.89.6/core/server/views/error.hbs" in views directory "/home/myuser/web/subdomain.mywebsite.com/public_html/content/themes/source"

Thank you for any help!

Does config.production.json specify the bare domain or sub domain?

The first instance subdomain and the second the domain. After some unsuccesfull attempts I couldn’t fix the problem by myself. Rebuild everything from scratch and when I was ready to give up I was fortunate enough to discover another server panel( cloudpanel) that almost did it for me. And I have now a runninmg Ghost :face_holding_back_tears:
