# Ghost Install Sudo password problem

Ghost version 3.38.3  
Ghost-CLI version 1.15.2  
Debian 10 VPS  
Node v10.21.0

Problem when trying to install Ghost.  
Ran Ghost Doctor.  
Asked me for Sudo Password that I never made.  
Inputted my normal username password.  
My username is not in Sudoers file error message.

How do I either create a Sudo Password or put my username into Sudoers file?

Hey @Ghostfun 👋

You need to use a user that’s in the `sudo` group if you’re looking to install Ghost in production. Here’s a guide to adding a user if you need:
