Every few months for the last year or so, I’ve been searching for a Ghost theme that can show full posts on the home page. There’s a thread here from ‘21 that always appears with a short conversation, some tips for modifying a theme, but no solution.
Well, I’m here to say that I found one. The theme is Hakone by Aspire themes. I’m not linking because I don’t want anyone to think I’m a shill. It’s easy enough to find.
Even better, for my needs, if you don’t add a custom excerpt, the theme doesn’t generate/display one.
The theme is minimalistic (no featured images, minimal customizations), but includes a few extra features that can make a site visually distinctive.
I’m surprised that there are so few Ghost themes that innovate like this.
