@sergiovolt that text is part of the content so it’s not translatable in the traditional sense. If you want to change it to a different language then you can change it to whatever you want inside the editor
Tks so much, Kevin, I didn’t noticed that, although it was quite obvious.
For anyone interested, here’s current language translation leaderboard!
(see the rest here)
(Update: Apparently Hungarian got fixed, but the missing variable stuff didn’t get updated. Trying to figure that out now.)
@Cathy_Sarisky how can we quickly find what has not been translated into a specific language? I see that the French is only 90% translated, but I don’t understand how to help complete the work.
The first post in the thread includes how to see the translation files, and how to submit additions. ![]()
I translate it to pt_PT, based on Journal theme. I can share the file, but don’t know how to do it.
We already have a pt translation, which should be the pt_PT strings. But this effort is for the built-in strings in Ghost, not the themes. Since you’re referencing Journal theme, I’m thinking you did a theme translation?
Well, I create a new pt.jason based on an old one, I think, did some improvements and I added some sentences that were not included.
On the default, index and post.hbs.
Right, that’s a theme, I think.
