How stable are preview links?

Is it safe to share preview links like https://machine-learning-etc.ghost.io/p/f64bbc9b-2652-4c6b-a9a1-8a62840a441c/

I’ve been using them to link materials in forums, but now wondering if these links are likely to change.

Was relying on preview rather than published version to get around the preview bug

Related to this question: is it safe to depend on the preview link for the purpose of scheduling social media posts?

At first glance, it appears to work fine to schedule a Facebook or X post using the preview link, prior to the publication of the post, with the social media post scheduled to occur after the post goes live - but will those links break at some point in the future?

The preview links are tied to the post UUID, which should be stable.

Once the post is published, the preview link will redirect to the live link.

Yes, I have noticed that behaviour (preview link redirecting to live link); from your description, it sounds like that can indeed be relied upon, for this use case (scheduling social media post prior to the eventual live link being active).

Thanks!
