If you are coming to this topic late like I did, you should know that the sample config shown in the [instructions](https://allurcode.com/configure-mailgun-on-self-hosted-ghost-blog/) are no longer working.

Instead, use the “fixed configuration” here: [Custom Email Configuration - Failed to send magic link email reply by jannis](https://forum.ghost.org/t/custom-email-configuration-failed-to-send-magic-link-email/38579/4).

The rest of the instructions, especially the part about configuring Mailgun still works.
