Right now, the only way for customers to redeem an offer is by going to the offer URL, and signing up without ever leaving that signup page. From what I understand, if someone goes to that url and doesn’t sign up immediately (i.e. clicks the X and portal pop up and browses the site to get a feel for what they’re signing up for), even if they then eventually go back to the sign-up portal, the offer is gone and they’re back to the standard rates.
It would be great to either (or both, preferably):
- Have the ability to enter coupon codes upon signup to apply the discount.
or - Have some kind of cookie tracking what offer the user came in under, and apply that discount if they eventually do checkout during that session.
Right now the Offers functionality seems tough to use.
