Multi-tier coupon/discount

Is there a way to create a coupon/discount/offer that applies to ALL paid tiers?

I would like to offer $2.50 off a monthly membership for ten months to anyone that upgrades from free (or I guess even from another tier). Thus, a “Save $25!” offer.

I can create the coupon in Stripe, but I can’t figure out how to get the portal to allow entering the coupon.

I’ve looked in both Ghost offers and in Outpost offers, but don’t see an answer.

If there isn’t one, I suppose I can create multiple offers, one for each tier, then tell people to choose the one they want to upgrade to. But first I thought I would inquire here to see if I’m missing something obvious. Thanks!

There was an internal beta for coupon codes a while back. Might be worth asking @jannis if that’s something he can turn on?

@jannis – Thoughts?

Just activated it on your site :slight_smile:

I haven’t played with it – will be interested to hear if the coupon codes work on multiple cadences/products! :)

Ok, cool. I looked under Offers, and don’t see one for a universal coupon. Is it somewhere else?

I haven’t used it myself, but the beta is essentially for Stripe promo codes. So, my assumption without looking at code or the implementation: you’d create promo codes in Stripe, which can then be used during checkout.

Yep, you’re right. I did a test, and the “Add Coupon” shows up in the final checkout dialog. Cool! Thanks for turning it on!
