Hi.

I’m writing a blog with Ghost(pro) and I’m using the newsletter to warn people that a new post is ready. When I publish the post and send the newsletter, the WHOLE post is included in the email. It doesn’t bring any traffic to the blog itself. I know this issue has been talked about multiple times for several years ([example](https://forum.ghost.org/t/excerpt-of-post-sent-in-email-newsletter-vs-full-post/33806)), yet there is still no easy way to work around it. I’m not going to duplicate each of my posts…

Could we have a feature that looks like the “public preview” tag, that cuts the post to only send part of it in the email?

Thanks.

Drop it over in Ideas if there’s not already a thread there?
