Is there a way to strip out all the bot traffic in the built-in analytics? There should be an option to filter this out somehow.
For a long time, I have used Clicky analytics, which does a really good job of filtering out the bot traffic. Pretty reasonable, and really full-featured.
@AlanSoon apparently those peak numbers on pageviews was a hick-up on Synaps Media analytics service, that was causing duplicating same events many times. Sorry for that. You can ignore those few days in pageviews chart. Since visitor based numbers ignores the repeated events, they are still reliable.
