As many of our articles are not time-sensitive and will improve SEO without a date, does anyone know how to remove the publication date from articles altogether?
You can’t do it without modifying the core 
vikaspotluri123 Right now is not possible, you will have to wait for the “Apps” function to get released.
Once this gets out for the public, you should be able to create a “custom helper” (per docs Apps would be the way to create custom helpers) to “filter” the meta tags created by the ghost_head handlebars helper. That way you can get rid of the dates-related meta tags in your HTML document. Of course later you have to remove them from the Theme and these things to complete the job.
