# ✖ Setting up SSL

Hey guys,

I am trying to install ghost on my home server and at the “Setting up SSL” part, I am receiving the following error. Do you have any ideas what am I doing wrong?  
_(I am a beginner so maybe I am just missing something obvious)_

Is the domain set up properly, having DNS set to your home server IP?

Hey **danaketh** ,

Thank you for getting back to me! In the meanwhile I have found the solution, in my case I had to open some ports.

I found the [solution here](https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost-CLI/issues/176).
