There’ve been lots of confused folks (me included!) on the forum about the behavior of the Source landing page layout. Users are expecting the landing page section to stick around for logged in users, and when it disappears, it’s surprising. Proposal:

- Make a slider for “continue to show cover image to logged in users” (name could be improved). Make that the default behavior.
- Add a “hero text for logged in users” field.

That would allow users who like the look of the Landing page layout to keep the cover image display for logged in users.

Alternatively, the landing page layout could convert to the search layout for logged in users.
