Tocbot (Table of Content) Bug on Mobile

After several months of using the Table of Content (Tocbot) with Casper, I discovered a bug on mobile devices. To replicate the bug, follow these steps:

  • Create an article with multiple H2 and H3 headings
  • Publish the article
  • Access the article from a mobile device (Android or iOS)

As you scroll through the article with your mobile, you’ll notice that whenever you reach an H2 that contains nested H3 headings, the view will bounce up and down in an annoying way. This is due to the tocbot’s animation that shows the H3 headings when you reach a specific H2 in the text.

My question is whether there is a way to remove or fix this animation?
