Hey Ghost team,
I recently started self-hosting Ghost and have been really enjoying the experience so far.
I’ve been reading through the ActivityPub documentation and noticed that the recommended setup relies on Caddy to route traffic between Ghost and the ActivityPub service.
In my case, I already have an existing reverse proxy setup and would prefer to keep using it. From what I can see, the Ghost container communicates with the ActivityPub service through a fixed internal URL.
Would it be possible to make this URL configurable through an environment variable? That would allow self-hosters with an existing proxy infrastructure to integrate ActivityPub without having to adopt the exact proxy setup described in the documentation.
It seems like this could simplify deployment for users running Nginx Proxy Manager, Traefik, HAProxy, Pangolin, or other reverse proxies while keeping the current defaults intact.
Thanks for all the work on Ghost!
