Hi!
Newbie here…

I want to change the language to french.
Red the instructions ==\> [Ghost Handlebars Theme Helpers: translate](https://ghost.org/docs/themes/helpers/translate/)
I’ve created a folder on my computer called “locales”, created the fr.json and translated it.
How to I upload it / how do the site read it?

Thanks

The `locales` directory should be in the root directory of the theme you are using.
You can download it from Admin, add the locales folder inside the theme and re-upload it.
You have to set the language to `fr` in the Admin, going to Settings → General → Publication Language.

why @ghost team doesn’t create something like language main site check box?! 🙋‍♂️⁉ not everyone note about code. if that, we/the customer can use another solution like website builder from hosting provider. easy. quick. or even wordpress 🙄🙄🙄

Hello, I’m also looking to translate Ghost in French.
But it seems like I can’t find the full list of en.json
The only thing I found so far is this:

```auto
{
    "Top left Button": "Left Button on Top",
    "Subscribe": "Subscribe",
    "Sign in": "Sign in",
    "Load More": "Load More"
}
```

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to translate your theme or some other part of ghost? Can you share some more details on what you’re trying to do?
