# Why arent Lifetime Membership options available?

Hi, I want to offer a Lifetime membership tier but the option for a one-off payment is not available. Can anyone tell me the workaround or if Ghost has this as an update coming soon?

Under complimentary membership, you can provide a lifetime membership. So, I guess you could provide a contact form for lifetime membership, invoice directly, and once payment received, set up the complimentary membership.

You could also set up a Stripe link to pay for it and then use Zapier or another webhook → API provider to create the complimentary account.

That is fine… but we also need people to inform about the availability of the lifetime membership option.

Since the membership is handled through the portal, it would be better if the option for lifetime membership is displayed in the sign up page.

This will streamline things rather than resorting to workarounds.
