I’m new (returning) to Ghost and I noticed that the post editor includes serif fonts.
Is there anyway to change this?
It’s a bias I have against staring at serif fonts.

FYI, I believe I’m running Ghost 2.X… whatever Digital Ocean has as their default version.
There’s no way to change the editor font within Ghost. However you have control over your browser so you can override the font used on sites as you see fit either via browser settings or extensions depending on the browser.
An example extension for Chrome would be Font Change with Google Web Fonts. Here’s a screenshot of Ghost’s admin with the font forced to ABeeZee:
