Easy way to offer group subscriptions?

Hey all,

Ghost tiers only enable purchasing access for 1 email at a time. My publication is B2B, meaning my paid readers are companies who buy multiple seats for their team.

Today, I have to get them to buy a single seat subscription (the only tier available), ask them to send me the list of emails they’d like added, and then add them manually to a 1-year comp plan.

Has anyone figured out a way for clients to buy access for multiple emails within a Ghost tier?

Thanks!
Tim

It’s not supported by Ghost. It can be done with an external process, that basically just automated the same steps (collect emails, make comp accounts) that you described.

Thanks for your response Cathy - any tools you have in mind?

Try Outpost – they have a group membership feature.

I’ve seen folks work around this by using a short form to collect team emails after checkout and then piping those into Ghost via the admin API, so you’re not stuck adding them one by one. It’s a bit hacky but saves time. I ran into the same issue while setting up a deal roundup on [Moderator: link removed] and ended up automating most of the seat‑granting to keep my sanity.
