I am currently building out a new site along with a youtube channel. I wanted to keep everything private until I had completed all of my content. Unfortunately, if a youtube video is marked as private you are unable to include it in a blog post when using the new V2 youtube card. When you go to add the video you will receive an error:
“There was an error when parsing the URL.”
The workaround is to set the video on youtube to “unlisted” instead of private.
I hope this tip will be helpful to someone else along the way.
