How I Added a Simple TOC to My Ghost Blog

I wanted to share a quick and easy way I added a Table of Contents (TOC) to my Ghost blog posts. This method automatically pulls in your headings and updates them without needing to mess with complex code.

So for any one wanting a Seo friendly Table of Contents in their Blog Posts here is a super simple guide.
I posted it on Reddit check it out. One user just refined the code and made it even better.

I believe that this topic was already covered here: TOC on Source theme

There you can find a couple of options of your taste

I also have a very similar solution with some customizartions: Table of Contents (TOC) v2 for your blog - Ghost

Your version is full of CSS styles, which people may like. Good job.

That’s a different approach which (from my understanding) involves doing things on the server side which I don’t want. Because it’s not my playground (which I learned the hard way)
my Method involved only code-injection in the settings similar to yours  but didn’t find it when i was researching it. Would’ve saved me hours.
