Hyperlink blog text to open in a new tab

Hi, when you add a hyperlink to text, is there a way to force the link to open in a new tab? I.e. target="_blank"

Otherwise we’re just driving traffic away from our blog

Open all links in a new window

Like other editors, when we add a href link, that link should be opened up in another browser window, instead, it leaves our website. Not good at all. Our readers should never leave our website. When I double-click on a text, an option to select target="_blank" or make all links that default. Is there a way to achieve this? I’d modify the core for this as this is very important. Thanks

I do think the same Way, like the intention @John mentioned in his Answer and I thought that the Question here was a valid One.
