It would be cool if Ghost could automatically create and expose an llms.txt file for public posts on a Ghost site. This would enable leveraging Ghost posts with AI
This would be excellent. :)
I also saw llmstxt.org and thought it was a good idea.(That’s why I found this topic.)
This will not only make Ghost users more efficient in working with AI, but is also a realistic countermeasure against AI crawlers.
I have built basic llms.txt support in this project that also creates a markdown-version of all content
Any updates on this? Is and automated LLMS.txt generation feature on the roadmap for Ghost?
just stumbled upon this;
Yes this feature is released 3 days ago with v6.49.0
Now, on an enabled website, Ghost provides llms.txt file from root path. Running example: https://www.synapsmedia.com/llms.txt That file includes links to all posts/pages with their markdown versions.
I think Ghost team waits for a good timing to publish a changelog post for this ![]()
Is there evidence to suggest llms.txt files make a difference for discoverability? I guess there’s no harm - seems easy, just curious.
