Many technology-savvy people choose to disable JavaScript for security and performance.
Last I checked, it was not possible for a theme developer to make a Ghost membership site that was usable with JavaScript disabled.
Even if paid memberships still required JavaScript — and even if the default Ghost theme, and Portal still were built for users with JavaScript enabled — it would be wonderful if there was a documented way to make a sign-up form that didn’t rely on JavaScript
