Quick question about fonts

Recently read an article about Monotype going after web sites for using their fonts without paying – AND, that Monotype had bought a number of font companies, so the odds of you unknowingly using one of their fonts went up.

I seem to remember (senior moment) that Ghost has “Ghost-safe fonts.” Does this mean that the fonts in the font dropdown are public domain, or otherwise free to use? The last thing I need is for some giant corporation to send me a bill for thousands of dollars (which apparently is happening).

Thoughts?

The fonts in the dropdown are all from Bunny Fonts (basically a better, privacy-respecting Google Font alternative with the same fonts): https://fonts.bunny.net/

That’s what they say in their FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions | Bunny Fonts):

Can I use Bunny Fonts commercially?

All fonts in the collection are fully open source, meaning you can use them without any fees in any of your products & projects. For information on licensing, you can check the details page for each of the fonts.
