Search icon - Journal Theme v.1.0.0

Hi all, I am wanting to add a search icon to my page. I am using the Journal Theme and in this demo here I can see that there is a search icon in the top left, corner, so I am trying to get mine to look like that. https://journal.ghost.io/ Top right would be even better if possible, but going step by step here.

I tried following other instructions for Casper eg, (https://ghost.org/docs/themes/search/) but am not sure if this is possible for me as I have the Ghost Starter pack, i.e. can I even get to these helper docs?, Thought it should be possible if this is included in the free journal theme demo. Any help would be very much appreciated. Do not know how to code (which might be the reason for not succeeding with the Casper instructions) but of course happy to try follow any suggested steps. Thank you so much in advance!!

If you are using the Journal theme, then the search icon is a built-in feature, and it should display automatically.
Have you modified your theme?
Or another quick fix, you can reinstall the Journal theme

Hi @Raki - thanks so much for your response and sorry for the delay in getting back. Life got ahead of me. Thanks for confirming that the search icon is part of the theme I am using. Reinstalling it should not affect the content already posted right? Sorry, still pretty new to Ghost. Thanks again. Have a great weekend!

Yeah, reinstalling won’t affect the content you created, but reinstalling will lose the modification if you have modified the theme file itself.
