None of that will let the eminently-patient mjw or anyone else see what error the server throws when they try it. Do you want help? Provide a thorough description of the problem, including any possible relevant error logs (both in the console and back-end), not “go create the error yourself”.
[Mind you, it’s ALSO useful to be able to see the error on the live site, but since most of this has looked like a back-end configuration problem, that’s probably not enough.]
