I was really pleased to see that Ghost finally has native comments. As such I wanted to bring my WordPress blog, which I have been posting to since 2007, to Ghost.
The migration plugin worked great for my content and images, but does not include the comments.
I think it would be advantageous, especially for getting people to migrate from WordPress, if the comments could also be migrated.
I realise for these comments to exist in Ghost, each comment author would need to be a member. Maybe these members need to be assigned a certain tier of (inert?) member by default?
Having the content of these comments survive onto the new platform following migration, seems far more useful to me, than the authors of those comments actually being members.
