While I’m a big fan of the improved analytics update from a few months back, one thing that seems to be lacking is the ability to sort metrics by author, or to view an individual author’s metrics (pageviews, post count, etc). Am I just blind and am not seeing where to do this, or is this something we can hope to see added one day? As someone helping run a growing newsroom, it would really help us with things!
I’m pretty sure there is not a way using the built-in analytics. I use Growblog for those sorts of in-depth analytics, and it is great for that. (Almost overwhelming, in fact, with all the stuff you can track.)
Thanks! Disappointing that it can’t tap into anything on Ghost’s backend to be able to pull pageviews before I added the script, but even getting post numbers and wordcount is a start.
