I am self hosting ghost and plan to migrate to ghost 6. Do I have to use tinybird or can I use Plausible Analytics or even use umami. I was reading a little about tinybird on this form here
Yes, Tinybird analytics is optional. You can still use any other analytics solution.
Thanks, Does the docs have anything about setting up analytics? currently I am using Tianji via Code injection.
Most of the time just using code injection would be enough. You can find information about some analytics tool integration here: Ghost integrations – official apps, plugins & tools

I’m still using simple analytics w the analytics from ghost. Will likely drop simple soon 
but yes, you should be able to use both. Please note I’m Ghost pro so I don’t know if that has any impact
