Can you create tables in markdown?

Hi folks. Relative newcomer to Ghost. Is there a way to create a table in a markdown card?

Failing that, I’ve tried to create a table in an HTML block, but can’t figure out how to get it left aligned. It displays centered on my post page.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Fantastic! It’s clear that I don’t have a good grasp on MD tables, as I had tried to build them manually, but there’s something wrong with my markdown, and they didn’t render. Anyway, thanks for the pointer and I should be good now!

On a related note: any hints on how to get that table to align to the left of my post? I can’t seem to locate the CSS that is causing it to be centered.
