Does ghost offer any comment solution that is not based on a third party site/widget. (eg something I can run locally).
I’m not opposed to paying for something, but all these widgets require some form of authentication by the user (utterance, discus, etc) . If the user is already authenticated in ghost, I’m fine with them just posting.
The comment feature is requirement for my site, but I can’t find a solution. That’s what brought ghost to my attention. The only “almost” solution I’ve found is cusdis (cusdis.com). But it requires every post to be approved manually.
This is really frustrating me. I simply need a very basic blog site that allows users to comment, and I need it super fast (now)!
