when using the Dawn theme and uploading a profile / favicon picture, this picture is also placed in the middle of the main page. Is there any way to delete this picture from that location? Thanks.
You have to edit the partials/cover.hbs file.
More specifically this section:
If you remove the highlighted part you will not have this picture on the home page anymore.

Sure, you can change the @site.icon to @site.logo.
