I have written a draft of a long post and am in the process of editing it.
My editing is very heavy so I want to preserve the current version of the document.
The easiest way that comes to mind for doing that is duplicating the post and then editing the new version of it.
I can’t seem to find a “duplicate post” button anywhere.
I am using the latest self hosted version.
Am I missing something or is this feature not available on ghost?
Thanks!
Kevin

@bamartelly there is no “duplicate post” functionality, the closest thing would be copy and pasting your content into a new post.

Actually I’ve figured this out
It’s a bit hacky but whatevs.
You go into the “Labs” section and export all your ghost data as per these instructions: https://docs.ghost.org/faq/the-importer/
Then you open the JSON, and delete all JSON elements that are not the post you want to duplicate.
Then when your JSON contains only the post you want to duplicate, remove the ID and UUID fields.
Then import that json per the linked instructions above.
This will duplicate your post :)
