Excerpt of content in newsletters solved?!

What if…
You created Both a POST and a PAGE with the exact same content.

The POST contains the except which includes a full metal data socials etc

The PAGE includes the same meta data BUT uses the url for the PAGE.

That way people will be able to access the excert by Google search and meta data but will drive traffic to the site where people will have to have to subscribe on the site for full access to the content with member discussion?

Don’t send emails out with post combined but send out a separate email notifying a new post has been posted that would drive traffic back to site and force a login no??

Trying to see if that works now, unless anyone knows the variable or variables i’m missing here.

We are getting ready to meet on this because my workaround has been to publish the post only to the site and then do an email only newsletter with a blurb and a link to the post

That way I can send the newsletter to people without access to the post content and encourage upgrades

I have not checked out how this works with search etc but it gives me some peace of mind that the newsletters can be forwarded without exposing the actual article
