We are seeking an experienced Ghost CMS developer to handle the end-to-end migration of our news website from a proprietary CMS.
Content Migration:
Convert CSV export (articles, categories, meta descriptions, authors, publish dates) to Ghost JSON format, including embedded HTML content.
Image Handling:
Scrape and rehost all embedded images, replacing old URLs with new Ghost-hosted image paths.
Paid subscribers transfer:
Migrate members and paid subscribers, including Stripe integration. Assist in mapping existing subscribers to Stripe and Ghost membership levels.
SEO & Redirects:
Preserve or remap article URLs for continuity and search engine ranking (including 301 redirects if necessary).
