"Featured" posts but working incorrectly in Source Theme

Fill out the following bug report template with as much detail as possible!

Are you sure this is a bug? If you just need help, post in the developer help category. If it’s a feature request, head to the ideas category.

Issue Summary

  • “Show featured posts” toggle is backwards. Featured posts are showing when the button is toggled OFF, and they disappear when the button it toggled ON. Additionally, when stories do vanish, the “Featured” here remains above an empty vertical block that appears on the homepage.
  • Expected the right rail to completely disappear when toggled off, including the “Featured” header, and the remaining stories on the left to shift to the right to fill the homepage.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Design & Branding–> themes–> set header style to highlight–> toggle “Show Featured Posts” off & on

I don’t think it’s a bug. Source doesn’t appear to use ‘Featured Posts’ - not sure why!?

Fantasma’s Ghost Theme Builder is built over Source. You can very easily replicate the base layout or better still build your own desired layout and include ‘Featured’ posts there. Free or paid plans. ;)
