Ghost Mac Desktop Client can't access private site

I am unable to use the View Site option when I have a private site. The Ghost Desktop client shows the site password page. I enter the password and I get an error Wrong Password.

I have tried very simple passwords and complex ones. Still same error.

  • What Node version, database, OS & browser are you using?
    Node: v10.22.0
    MySQL 14.14
    Ubuntu 18.04
    FireFox 79
    Safari 13.1.2
    Ghost Desktop Client 1.7.0

  • What errors or information do you see in the console?
    N/A

  • What steps could someone else take to reproduce the issue you’re having? Open the Ghost Desktop Client and click on “View Site” top left of navigation. Enter Site Password.
