Google is still using the Google News sitemap for news websites and in your effort to promote small websites, and local news, will be great to have this sitemap enabled as an option for the Starter Plans.

The Google News sitemap helps a lot on the search results in Google.

I am on a starter plan and some of my articles are in Google News.

There are 2 types of Google News. 1 news.google.com and apps. 2 Search results as news in Google.com
