I love Ghost. But I also get very frustrated and angry with it sometimes because some very basic, and I do mean very basic things that you could enable with most platforms like Notification Bars is very expensive to do with Ghost or requires a lot of technical knowledge.
I am trying to create a notification bar for my site. However, I can’t find a cheap way of doing it. All the ones I found is very expensive, almost the like paying for another Ghost license.
If someone has code for one that they don’t mind sharing, I don’t mind making a reasonable donation.
Or if you know where I could get one for free, I would be very grateful. Thank you.
Need it for comments because authors are not responsible to moderate their own posts; we need the team to be notified when there are new comments and so we can catch misdirected questions
without scrolling every post through history to check manually for comments
It’s not the solution you’re looking for, but it may be a solution. I use a 3rd party commenting system - FastComments - which integrates well and has a pretty good moderation backend. You can have multiple moderators/admins/sites.
