Introducing FlexiBits – A flexible Ghost theme for blogs and focused landing pages

Hey folks :waving_hand:

Excited to share FlexiBits, the second theme from theFineBits.

It started, oddly enough, as a customer request. Someone wanted to use Ghost for email marketing campaigns and needed dedicated landing pages, the kind without a header or footer competing for attention. Ghost is brilliant at publishing, but most themes make that kind of focused page surprisingly hard to build.

So I built one that doesn’t. FlexiBits ships with custom templates that strip the header and footer entirely, so you can run focused landing pages alongside your blog without the theme getting in the way.

A few other things in there:

  • Three post layouts (Default, Hero, Wide), pickable per post
  • Four color tints to set the mood
  • A proper dark mode (designed, not just inverted)
  • Built for Ghost 6.x, leaning into Ghost’s native components rather than reinventing them

Happy to answer questions about the build, decisions, or anything else. Cheers!

Update: The theme has been renamed since this post went up. Flexibits (the Fantastical folks) reached out about the name overlap. We had a friendly conversation, and a rename was the right call. Updated links and the new name are below.
