We’re excited to introduce Scope, our latest Ghost theme designed for creative professionals who need more than just beautiful typography.
While our previous themes focused on specific content types (like newsletters or magazines), Scope is built around a powerful new feature: custom landing page sections.
Instead of being locked into a single homepage layout, you can now build unique landing pages by combining pre-designed sections - hero blocks, feature grids, testimonials, pricing tables, and more. Mix and match to create the perfect first impression for your site.
Looking great. Two things I especially appreciated in my quick preview of the docs:
1- I don’t see any use of social media descriptions for data storage - thank you!
2- I appreciate the clear documentation for how to put the landing page together, including images of finished results.
And one suggestion:
Users often want a way to display posts with a specific tag. You might consider offering something like your featured section that pulls latest posts with the primary tag on the page or similar…
I don’t remember where modern themes use social media descriptions. I recall that long ago, it was used in podcast themes to store links to audio URLs. Our theme doesn’t require this . Could you point me to the theme that uses this approach? I’m interested to see why it’s used.
A posts section filtered by tags is interesting. We’ll check if it can be built easily and update the theme. Thank you for the suggestion
