We’re excited to introduce Scope, our latest Ghost theme designed for creative professionals who need more than just beautiful typography.
While our previous themes focused on specific content types (like newsletters or magazines), Scope is built around a powerful new feature: custom landing page sections.
Instead of being locked into a single homepage layout, you can now build unique landing pages by combining pre-designed sections - hero blocks, feature grids, testimonials, pricing tables, and more. Mix and match to create the perfect first impression for your site.
Looking great. Two things I especially appreciated in my quick preview of the docs:
1- I don’t see any use of social media descriptions for data storage - thank you!
2- I appreciate the clear documentation for how to put the landing page together, including images of finished results.
And one suggestion:
Users often want a way to display posts with a specific tag. You might consider offering something like your featured section that pulls latest posts with the primary tag on the page or similar…
I don’t remember where modern themes use social media descriptions. I recall that long ago, it was used in podcast themes to store links to audio URLs. Our theme doesn’t require this . Could you point me to the theme that uses this approach? I’m interested to see why it’s used.
A posts section filtered by tags is interesting. We’ll check if it can be built easily and update the theme. Thank you for the suggestion
I’m going to give my opinion now looking at the topic, beautiful by the way, I have 2 topics from you aspects and thesis, fast, clean, beautiful, now my opinions, the side menu likes and in the end it tires, the desires of the ghost topics are very narrow in large monitors that there are already many people who have them, content table is fundamental in any topic, landing page is the way forward we all want to customize and we all want to enter and see a page that tells us what it is about who makes it, not that says latest publications except the whasintong post, ghost is denied to do it, you developers have to do landing and greater customization, and other means of payment, and shadows the topics do not have many shadows, otherwise ghost would be among the 5 most used platforms, we do not need more than those little things and courses would already be a genius, thanks
