My site used to display as below (having site subscription access set to none)
Because of some configuration issues I created a new instance of the site and now when I set subscription access to none, the main image disappears and I am left with.
What might I have done to cause this to happen?
That’s the expected behavior of source theme in landing page mode. Since you aren’t taking sign ups it doesn’t show the sign up section.
You might want the edition theme instead, or source in “search” layout.
Awesome, I changed the theme in my original site to “Wave” and that did it
