Migrating from Patreon to Ghost and looking for "Pay what you want" Tier pricing

Hi there. I’m new here and looking to migrate my existing Patreon over to Ghost since it’s open source and I can own/brand everything as I like.

One thing that Patreon lets us do, and I haven’t been able to find any other service that offers this, is “Pay What You Want” tier, in which we only have one tier with a minimum price but let people put in their own monthly amount they want to pay.

Ideally, I’d like to keep this moving to Ghost and I’ve seen a post in these forms in which a developer was able to custom create it (here: "Pay what you want" price) but unfortunately it seems a bit over my head haha. I’m wondering if there have been any updates that have added this functionality?

Totally! I’m not sure why more services don’t offer things like this. It kind of seems like a no-brainer haha

Agreed. It would be a no-brainer to pretty much add every feature that Substack already has and then move from there
